  • Alan is a Non-Executive Director at RPP Developments.
  • After qualifying as a Quantity Surveyor in 1978, Alan established a Quantity Surveying practice and then in 1992, branched out into the world of property development.
  • Alan is a wildlife enthusiast, keen fisherman and deep-sea angler and travels widely.

Jock Seeliger

Chairman

  • Jock Seeliger graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1979 with a B. Comm Honours (B Compt & CTA) degree and qualified the year after as a Chartered Accountant (SA).
  • Jock joined the company in 1986 as Financial Manager, moving on to Managing Director in 2004. Jock now assumes the role of Chairman as at January 2025.
  • Jock is a sports enthusiast and has a keen interest in wildlife and game breeding through his shareholdings in a working farm and game lodge.
  • Jock is a Trustee of the Bona Lesedi Disability Centre, as well as being a Trustee on the Trusts of various family members, colleagues and business associates.

  • Jock is a director of RPP Developments and Bluegate Properties, RPP Development’s residential accommodation development arm.
  • He has been actively involved in all facets of property development and asset management since 2006.
  • He has comprehensive experience in deal structuring, marketing and sales, development management, project management, debt acquisition and structuring, structured finance, asset management and corporate disposals.
  • He is co-head of property and asset management of a R500m+ property portfolio.

David Emmett

Financial Director

  • David has been the financial director of RPP Developments since 2016.
  • He is responsible for deal structuring, project management, debt acquisition and structuring, structured finance, property and asset management and corporate disposals.
  • He is co-head of property and asset management of a R500m+ property portfolio.
  • Prior to joining RPP Developments, David was a senior manager at a BEE corporate finance firm in Johannesburg where he advised on and structured numerous BEE transactions including Statement 102 sale of asset transactions.
  • Prior to this David spent 7 years in corporate finance with PwC London.
